Company Infrastructure
The company which started its activities from the Dubai office way back in 1993 has now over 10 offices spread out in Africa, Germany, Canada as well as in the Emirates - the nerve center being Dubai which is a fully computerized office with all latest communicational gadgets.

The total number of qualified Managers and skilled Staff are at present around 70.

Shipping and Cargo Related Industry
In the beginning, the company was engaged basically as Cargo Brokers/Agents in Dubai, and within a span of just three years, it  made impressive strides in operating bi-monthly dedicated Liner Service to Assab and Massawa in Eritrea especially with the expansion of  foreign trade by the government of Eritrea. As a matter of fact, from the initial stage of chartering vessels on Time Charter and Voyage Charters on a regular basis, the company purchased two vessels of 6000 DWT with the rapid increase in exports mainly from UAE to Eritrea. It is needless to mention that the company was also successful in promoting regular cargo destined for Djibouti  which was treated as a wayport making fortnightly calls. With two vessels in its fleet the company expanded calls to other ports in The Red Sea of Port Sudan, El-Maan, Berbera, in Somalia  and Safaga and Port Said in Egypt and at the same time stretching our port calls to the West Coast of India having pioneered the Red Sea trade in break-bulk as well as in the container / Ro Ro trade.

With the foreign trade of Eritrea showing a downward trend since early 2005, the company has started operating its vessels to Iraq and Inter-Gulf ports at present  which holds out bright cargo prospects in the near future.

Nevertheless, with the Dubai Ship owning community having established an Association of Ship Owners and Ship financing becoming increasingly attractive along with Registry office coming up in Dubai Maritime City next year, there is a great expectation of unprecedented fleet expansion in this region which will surely have a salutary effect on the future of Adoulis Shipping.

Shipping Agency and Freight Forwarding
The company acts as Ship Agent for many foreign and local Ship Operators mainly in the port of Ajman, UAE. Having operated its own fleet as well as being actively present in this port for over ten years now, the company has established an excellent rapport with the port officials and as a result, many Ship owners have exuded confidence and reliability and have lauded our  services rendered.

Freight forwarding has become an allied business especially with the commencement of Exports to Luanda, Lusaka, Durban etc in Africa. It has been observed that the export of Containers now range around 30 boxes consisting of TEUS/FEUS/FEU-High cubes per month. With the trade witnessing considerable growth especially to Angola and Zambia , future prospects of Freight Forwarding shows to be promising.

Chartering & Shipbroking
The Chartering and Shipbroking unit which is active in securing cargo for various ship-owners acts as brokers as well as for its own fleet. Furthermore, the company has acted as Charterers as well as Owners Protecting Agents.

Occasional forays have been made as Brokers in the field of Sale and Purchase of vessels.

Insurance Brokers and Protection and Indemnity Club Correspondent
With the Government of Dubai announcing that Dubai will be opening its own Ship Registry Office located in Dubai Maritime City, catering to national and foreign ownership of vessels, the prospects for Insurance broking and Insurance services are presaged to be considerable. Infact we have just obtained the licence for registering ships which wish to fly the UAE flag.

Warehousing
With the exports from the UAE reaching its zenith in 1995 and the uptrend remaining till the year 2000, the company operated two to three fully laden vessels to Eritrean ports which induced the company to procure a large and modern warehouse of around 10,000 sq. MT  inside the Ajman port with a view to catering for export cargo volumes. The company undertakes the storage of export as well as import cargo and at the same time is engaged in stuffing, de-stuffing  and handling of  various types of cargo.

It is envisaged that this allied venture charting out to new waters would give a shot in the arm of shipping and International Trading, thus strengthening the four pillars of Adoulis Business Empire so very entrenched in the United Arab Emirates, contributing to the economy and well-being of this great country as well.
